The Land
Trees first. Views second. Everything else follows.
Before any of Pine Valley was planned, it was walked. The land here is the whole story: approximately 201 acres of mature ponderosa, open meadow, and rolling terrain at the foot of the San Francisco Peaks. The community was fitted to what it found.
The northern view that shaped the plan
01
Trees
At roughly 7,000 feet, Pine Valley sits in the heart of the ponderosa zone. The forest here is mature, open, and full of light, and the plan keeps it that way.
02
Views
The San Francisco Peaks rise over the northern horizon. Their snow is the community clock, and the view corridors toward them are held open and permanent.
03
Terrain
Gentle meadow, open bench, and forested hillside. No two homesites are identical, because the terrain was never asked to behave like a grid.
04
Open Space
Much of the 201 acres is preserved as woodland, meadow, and trail. The community is measured by what it leaves open, not by what it fills.
The Way In
Arrive slowly.
The road crosses the open meadow before it reaches the trees, a long approach that lets the land do the talking. By the time the first homesite comes into view, it already feels like home ground.
Walk the Land on a Private TourThe Seasons
The land keeps its own calendar.
Four real seasons are part of the appeal. Fall turns the hills gold, winter lays snow deep enough to quiet everything, spring brings green to the meadow, and summer evenings end with the Peaks lit pink above the treeline.
Walk It
The land is best underfoot.
Join a private tour and walk the meadow, follow the forest trail, and stand on a homesite with the Peaks in front of you. There is no substitute for the real thing.
